In 1987 My dad started getting short of breath and gagging when he would excercise. He was incorrectly diagnosed with asthma.. about a year after. Later he was hospitalized when his heart and two chambers of his heart stopped beating in rythm. Doctors still didn't know what the problem was, though, until the following year, when a lung biopsy found signs of sarcodoisis, an autoimmune disease.

The cause of the disease is unknown. Story's sister Kathy Wagner of Sutherlin said her brother has undergone repeated testing at Oregon Health & Science University. Wagner said "doctors believe her brother will not survive without a transplant".

Right now he has advanced heart failure and is in need a of a transplant. Anything you contribute helps.
