LGBTT Rights in Puerto Rico

Los y las estudiantes de la Clínica de Discrimen por Orientación Sexual e Identidad de Género de la Escuela de Derecho de la Universidad de Puerto Rico participarán de una audiencia ante la Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos en la cual discutirán la precaria situación de los derechos humanos en Puerto Rico. Esta audiencia se realizará el 16 de marzo de 2015. Para ello los y las estudiantes necesitan trasladarse a la sede de la Comisión en Washington D.C. por lo que solicitan su ayuda para costear los gastos del viaje. Cualquier donativo será bien recibido y aportará a la causa de la defensa de los derechos humanos en la isla.

The students of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Discrimination Law Clinic of the University of Puerto Rico Law School will be participating at a viewing before the Interamerican Human Rights Council where they will discuss the precarious human right situation in Puerto Rico. The viewing will be celebrated on March 16th 2015. For this the students will travel to the Comission's headquarters in Washington D.C. and are requesting financial assistance to cover the travel expenses. Any donation will be well received and will help advance the human rights situation in the island.
