Compassion Fayetteville is one of nearly 70 cities around the world officially designated as a Compassionate City. Over the past 4 years of Compassion Fayetteville’s existence, it has accomplished many acts of compassion for the Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas area. These acts include feeding the homeless; supporting food banks through food drive collections; supporting organizations as Therapeutic Foster Care, EngageNWA, and The Cisneros Center; establishing the first annual City of Fayetteville Black History Month, and a myriad of examples of compassionate acts.
A few tireless and dedicated volunteers who want to make a difference in their community established this and so much more. The Compassion Fayetteville organization was formed and off we went to change our city. The time has come for Compassion Fayetteville to take the next step, become an official nonprofit organization by becoming an official 501c(3) organization. As an approved 501c(3) organization, Compassion Fayetteville will more easily be able to raise tax deductible funds allowing it to expand its activities to make an even greater impact on Northwest Arkansas.
