Cycle for Hope, Senegal - cycling 400Km around Senegal

My name is David Perry. This winter, I'll be travelling to Senegal in West Africa, where I plan to cycle 400 kilometres to raise funds for the Hope Football Centre. In Senegal, football is a powerful tool for sharing God's love and making a positive impact in the local community.

Your support will provide a safe space for youth to develop their skills, build character, and learn valuable life lessons. Hope Football Centre in Senegal also train coaches who go on to lead football programmes across Senegal, reaching and inspiring even more children.

Senegal's dry dusty climate and sandy, rocky pitches make youth sports development challenging. The ultimate goal is to install a 3G pitch for the academy, local programmes and the wider community. However the most urgent need is to build a shelter where children and coaches can escape the intense sun between games, training sessions and tournaments as well as offering a place for assemblies, presentations, and other community events.
