Dreams to be parents: Infertility Road
Donation protected
In 2011 I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. It's an endocrine disorder that causes a host of health issues which include: insulin resistance/diabetes, thyroid conditions, heart conditions, hormone imbalances, other health issues, and infertility. For as long as I remember I have wanted to be a mother. My husband would love to be a father. We are faced with the hard road of funding fertility treatments. Costs are expensive and one treatment can range from $300-$9,000. Add to that the medications required to force ovulation and your cost begins to sky rocket. On 10-15-13 we were given hope that we could conceive with medication and timed intercourse. The medications get expensive also! I am 30 years old. We are running out of time. Insurance does not cover the procedure or medications and we must pay out of pocket. That means raising roughly $5,000. Even though my infertility is caused by an endocrine disorder I still cannot get insurance to cover. We hope that each and every one of you will support our dreams!
