Save Our Librarian at EMES

Budget cuts have been especially brutal this year to our support staff at Estrella Mountain Elementary School in Goodyear, Arizona.  One of the cuts is to our Media Specialist.  Our Media Specialist is vital to our school as she is our librarian, book shelver, technology guru, book club sponsor, Science Olympiad sponsor, Lego Robotics coach, and book reader extrodinaire.  If we have to lose our Media Specialist, students will be unable to come and do research in the media center and check out books, and the library will become non existent.  This is not an option to the community of EMES, and we refuse to allow this to happen.  The Media Specialist is vital to our International Baccalareate program as our students are becoming leaders of tomorrow.  If each family was able to contribute to this worthy cause, we would have enough money to pay the Media Specialist's salary for the 2015-2016 school year.  Think of it as going without Starbucks for a month. Please donate today and invest in our student's futures.  Doing so will also invest in your future as our students become the leaders of tomorrow.
