Hi guys! My name is Emma, and right now I am trying my hardest to start up a business on Etsy. As a full time college student who has no reliable transportation and is trying to find a job that can work around classes, and is in walking/biking distance, I really need some help.
I am hoping to be able to open a shop that I can fill all sorts of nerdy, handmade, usually upcycled goodies - from awesome, nerdy hats and scarves to adorable toys that anyone would love - but before I can do that there a few things that I really, really need and can't afford.
My goal is $1,625, and this is what I need it for:
$500 for a decent laptop so I don't have to keep going to school/the library to get online
$600 for a serger
$250 for material (fabric, treads, yarns, buttons, ribbons, etc.)
$275 for advertising my etsy shop.
All of that is absolutely imperative so that I can sell awesome items like:
Stuffed toys, knitted, crocheted and sown. Felt potholders and kids kitchen sets. Quilts from different fandoms, nerdy ornaments,wallhanings,hats,mittens and scarves.
Below I have posted a few pictures of things I made for my family as examples and I will have more photos up soon.

Up until now I have only been able to sell locally at fairs and shows, but my dream is to be able to sell nation wide. Any amount would help thank you so much.
