"Flower for Peace" in S. Carolina

Donation protected
I'm Rod Webber, an activist/ artist/ filmmaker/ musician who has traveled the country giving "flowers for peace," since July of 2014. Since the US election began, I made it my new mission to offer the flower to potential presidents as a symbolic gesture that should they become the leader of the free world, that there be peace over their term.

I have seen all of the major candidates, (on average) about a half dozen times, and I have been making a documentary with the help of my trusted allies: David Grophear, Kevin Bowe, Steve Onderick, and my attorney, Lou Chakalos.

Most of the candidates have accepted a flower. A handful have accepted my follow-up to say a prayer for peace. Tomorrow I head to South Carolina to hopefully offer a flower to George W. Bush, who is attending an event with his brother Jeb.

Jeb has had me pray with him many times at his events, so I am hopeful that his brother will accept.

After a year and a half on the road, I am running low on funds, and will be sleeping in my car and dumpster-diving to keep things going. I make good money as a freelance videographer/ filmmaker/ musician and editor... but I have had little time to accept job offers during the primaries, so I simply have very little money now. I don't ask because I am incapable of earning a living-- but because I am dedicated to the project, and it must get done!!!

What I need money for is hard-drive space for the videos, and gas to get to the events. I don't have time to figure out a tiered reward system-- but if you can put in some money, I've got signed artwork, there will be VOD downloads of the movie, (and older movies like "A Man Among Giants " and "Northern Comfort" (with Greta Gerwig), the "Flowers for Peace" CD with Peter Philis, and plenty more fun things that I'd be happy to get for you if you ask.

ABOUT DONALD TRUMP ARREST:

During an October event featuring Bernie Sanders, Joe Lieberman and many others, I was assaulted during the Donald Trump Q&A portion of the event. Trump staff, (who were not officials for the event, and refused to identify themselves), enlisted the police and together grabbed me from behind, and then threw me over a table and dragged me-- all because I had the "temerity" to ask Mr. Trump if he was aware that I had been assaulted at a previous Trump event . Trump responded by saying, "you look healthy to me."

After being detained, then released by the police, I asked to press charges. Within minutes, I was handcuffed and loaded into the paddywagon being charged with "disorderly conduct" and "resisting arrest." Ironically, I offered the police a flower during this so-called "resisting arrest." The assault was caught on video by The Washington Post.

The Trump staffer who threw me was one of the same two Trump staffers who assaulted the Mexican protestor Efrain Galicia at Trump Tower in September, showing he has a history of violence.

Though I have no official affiliation with the others who have beeen assaulted at Trump events, I feel it is important to mention their names, as bringing these injustices to light is more important than any of the other indiginities that have been suffered.

Their names:

Efrain Galicia : Assaulted by Trump staff at Trump Tower in September.

Ronald Sanchez : Spat on by Trump supporters in October.

Ariel Rojas : Dragged and kicked by Trump supporters in Miami.

(Please update me if you know of others.)

My first court date is Nov. 18th in Manchester, NH. And though this will likely cause additional emotional and financial stress (on top of the physical harm), please be sure to view my videos focusing on the positivity that we can bring to the world if we try,  such as the day I sang "The World Needs Love" with Jeb Bush. (Not an endorsement.)

We can make the world a better place if we try-- one flower, one smile, one heart at a time . You just have to believe it.

The funds raised will make it so I can continue my mission, and cover any other related expenses.

UPDATE!!! CHARGES DROPPED IN TRUMP ARREST!!!
