Help fund prosthetic foot for teen girl
Marissa Barry went missing on 12/12/13. She was rescued in a forest after 27 hours in frigid single-digit temperatures, with only one shoe. Due to hypothermia and frostbite, Marissa is losing the lower right leg and foot that was exposed to the elements. She is an active 16-year-old girl who enjoys running, marching with the band and in Legends Percussion Indoor Assemble, and wearing high heels. She needs a prosthetic foot that can keep up with her active lifestyle, and insurance covers only the basic type of appliance. We are asking for help making up the difference between a "basic" foot and one needed to get Marissa back on her feet. She will have a long road to recovery with many medical appointments and adjustments. Thank you for your assistance and positive thoughts and prayers
