Help Scyne Buy a replacement Mac

Hey everyone! So I’ve been putting a lot of work into a few creative projects like the creation of FakeCoin, the launch of my Podcast “Virtualog,” and twitch streaming. At the core of my workflow has been my trusty Diamond Club donated early 2011 MacBook Pro. Sadly though there in lies the issue... this model of MacBook has a known GPU issue which sadly it looks like I have succumbed to. This means that I have a bit of work locked into it as well as my softwares used for editing and the like. This leaves me with two options:
1) have the unit repaired. This costs somewhere in the ballpark of $300-$400 and mostly is a bandaid fix as if the replacement GPU has the same issue it would have a chance of happening again.
2) replace the unit. This I don’t have a good price for but comparable MacBooks go for $600 on Amazon. This price would go to zero however if someone has an old working unit they are willing to donate.
