Grayden's Diabetic Alert Dog Bourbon

On October 25th 2013 our son Grayden's life changed forever. Grayden was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Our lives were forever changed. We had a 4 day crash coarse on how to keep our crazy alive. Grayden's body depends on the insulin we give him. Everyday he has 4-8 shots of insulin and up to 24 finger pokes to test his blood sugar.

This is  Bourbon, our Diabetic Alert Dog. Bourbon, will need to go back and train with his original D.A.D. trainer to get a refresher "bootcamp" for a few months, and I will go train for a weekend as well. Bourbon has been with us for a week and has alerted us on a few of Grayden's lows already. We know with going back to the basic training he will continue to become the Diabetic Alert Dog he was born to be!

Thank you all for your continued support throughout this crazy process! We are just starting on this amazing journey with our Bourbon! Grayden's fund is still open, and we still have a ways to go to meet our goal to ensure the best life for Bourbon!
