My name is Stephanie, and my Family has a SPECIAL idea in mind, for you all (…and for the wellness of Humankind)… but we need your help!!

Our little Family-of-Five has been fundraising for money, in order to construct a unique Family Business plan… It will become an Earthy, village-style, weekend-oriented, affordable, and all-inclusive Retreat Center VENUE, specifically geared toward Spiritual Wellness and Yoga. (Quilters and Knitters will be welcome, as well, due to a popular demand). Come one, come all! …We call it [the future] “Terra Mater Village: An Earthy Retreat Center for Spiritual Wellness & Yoga,” and we plan to construct in the Pacific Northwest / NE corner of Washington State!

…Of course it will be a costly endeavor, to achieve our Family Business dream, but we are TENACIOUS and continuously tryin’ our best.

To earn for our seed-money, we currently sell hand-crafted goods (most of which are made with recycled materials), under the “Earthy Aspirations: Hand and Earth-Made Products” vendor name. We also sell other unique items, including Vintage and Antique pieces, for profit toward our goal. All proceeds, acquired, are deposited directly into our Business Checking Account! Through years of various Vendor opportunities, and with all of your generous Donations, my Family has been actively raising money towards this goal… And, we are makin’ great strides!!

We are an average Family, with [only] average strings to pull, so we have the gumption to begin our Business in a financially strategic way. Every single day, we strive to bring this dream into reality! As of this date (Monday, 05 February 2024), we have gathered more than $18,300 towards our project… Little by little, we will go far!

Owning a Business has always been our Fate… I have a passion to pursue this dream, and Tyler (my Life-Partner) has Award-worthy culinary skills to contribute! Our three young children: Izzy, Lita, and Tyler Jr. / T.J. (ages 13, 5 and 3) are in line to become our Future Employees, as well… It will be a wholesome Family Business adventure! Introduction to Our Aim:

Envision—a flowing creek, acres of native trees and flourishing plants, an array of wild grasses, trails to walk amidst Nature and sitting areas that invite, scenic ponds and trickling waterfalls, with Meditation Stalls, an area for outdoor Yoga, individual hut-like Cabins, and numerous Outbuildings to centralize group activities—a place where Yoga Teachers, Spiritual Leaders, Healers, Health Coaches, and the like, can host a successful weekend Retreat!

Our Earthily-themed Retreat Center Venue will offer all-inclusive pricing for overnight accommodations, general provisions, up to three meals per day (Vegan and meat dishes), and the necessary spaces to hold group gatherings.

As we (the Founders of Terra Mater Village) envision it, our “Earthy Retreat Center” will become an incredible overgrowth of Mother Earth (i.e. “Terra Mater”), and our facilities will help to encourage any person to lead a 3-day Retreat event of their very own!

…It is our future aim, outlined above, but now is our brainstorming phase.

Our goal is to find a parcel of land (±20 acres), within the Northeast Region of Washington State, upon which we can build this Retreat Center. And, we have a strong motivation to bring our dream into existence!
Under the Business Plan, we are due to construct multiple Bunkhouses, two Shower-Houses, a lush Garden area with scenic pathways and ponds, a Greenhouse (to provide homegrown produce), a private Commercial Kitchen, an Eatery section and Lodge, a Fire-Pit area with sloped seating, a General Store (—for provisions or Yoga and Spiritual Wellness supplies), an “Antiques and Oddities” shop (—for fun), and a handful of spaces to host Workshops or hold sessions of Yoga.
We plan to build this dream, literally, from the ground up!

…In my heart, I know that “it will take a village” to help our Terra Mater Village come into existence. Our hope is to find a group of like-minded people, to support our start-up and provide us with encouragement, during our journey in creating this Small [Family] Business…
