Help Robert Wright, The Rib Savior
Donation protected
Hello Barbecue Enthusiasts and Good-Hearted People!
I'm Meathead of AmazingRibs.com. But I'm not here to talk about me. Last night I learned the story of Mr. Robert Wright. On September 1 at his home in Fresno, California, he and his family were victims of a fire. Because of Mr. Wright's heroics, everyone -- him, his young children and elderly relatives -- escaped unscathed... including the slab of ribs he was cooking as a late night snack! Sadly, though, Mr. Wright's family lost everything else.
The news footage that KMPH-TV Fox Affiliate 26 in Fresno of Mr. Wright uploaded to YouTube immediately went viral, I think, because of Mr. Wright's love of family and love of nicely cooked ribs. Watch the video and you'll see what I mean.
I'd love to help Mr. Wright and his family with the hard luck that has befallen them, and I hope that the Barbecue community feels the same generosity of spirit.
I'm not getting anything out of it, other than a good deed well done for a fellow barbecue lover and his family. GoFundMe automatically takes out just under 8% of every donation but everything else will transfer to Mr. Wright.
