Horry County Cuddle Cot Fundraiser
For those of you who don't know my story, our first daughter was stillborn in August 2010. I was 37 weeks pregnant when we found out she was no longer living then I had to deliver her the next day knowing that she was already dead. Her body was so fragile that I only had a short time to say goodbye. After they took her body to keep it cool I had requested to see her again only to be told that was not possible because of how fragile her body was. If the hospital had a Cuddle Cot at that time I would have been able to spend more time with her in my room as that is the only time I will have ever had.
I am raising funds for a Cuddle Cot to be donated to three hospitals in Horry County. The cost is around $3,000 per Cuddle Cot. Since Brinley was born at Conway Hospital I would like to donate the first one there.
