HELP US MEET MORE NEEDS IN N. Iraq
Donation protected
WE HAVE A 5,000$ streeeeeeeetch goal!
Help CJ and I head back to Northern Iraq for 6 WEEKS! It's our the third time serving the refugees In KURDISTAN due to the terrorist group ISIS. (We are patterning with PCCR, Med East and the Yezidi Rescue Project)
We of course want to share Jesus as well as meet practically needs this time! Warm socks, hats, mittens, boots, chap sticks, tea, clean drinking H20, bibles, food, spiritual food, share the gospel, give free hair cuts by CJ, a ukelele and djembe concert by us. Teach cheery crafts and bible studies/stories. Disciple older refugees so they may in turn disciple their neighbors!
We live in a very precarious world. These refugees may not be in the same place the next time I go back. Who knows if war will break out full? Please help us! For the six weeks CJ and I really want to pour lives in today and share the love of Jesus with them and give them our testimonies. Please pray for us please pray we have open doors to share the truth of Jesus Christ! While we'll be planting many, many faith seeds! Any leftover extra $ will go toward more classrooms being built! The more room the more children we can reach!
The widows and orphans love when I drew their portraits. So $$ for craft supplies is great!
We live in a very precarious world. These refugees may not be in the same place in a few months! So for the six weeks CJ and I really want to pour lives in this special village, share the love of Jesus with them and give them our testimonies. Please pray for us; please pray about sharing your funds from your comphylives with those who've lost everything (including loved ones!)This special seed planting and watering trip will take place on November 4- Dec 16
We love you. Donna & CJ
First Goal,
LEASE HELP US BUILD A SCHOOL/INSTITUTE
IN NORTHERN IRAQ FOR REFUGEE CHILDREN.
Imagine you're a child whose house, school and church has been burned/demolished. Your father and older brothers are beheaded and sisters stolen by ISIS (to become sexual slaves for the terrorists.) You've spent days on top of Sinjar Mountain without food or water. Finally there's a break in the brutality and you enter the Kurdistan area of Iraq orphaned. You stay wherever you can, in unfinished concrete block houses with 4-5 other families. These dwellings are without doors or windows, there's no electricity, running water or bathrooms. Some families are huddled under bridges wondering if they'll ever return home again. One 18 year old, young man, (we call Smiley) managed to get 16 orphaned children to safety by himself! Even if the refugees could return home, there's nothing left to return home to. The memories of seeing your loved ones slaughtered, or starved to death, haunts you. Some donations trickle in, some basic food, water, blankets... But your days are spent in despair. You and your refugee friends gather sticks for hours just so the ladies can bake naan. You hope to have a sense of normalcy---you wish to go back to school, but there is none.
With your help we can start a school in a *village in Northern Iraq. There's an American professor living in the area who has the liscence to open an Institute but it's costly to start. Will you help us get this project up and running?
(*We must keep the exact location private for the protection of the refugees and those helping with this project.)
If you prefer to write a check, PM us for address and info.

This list is not exhaustive, but as you can see it is well organized. We merely need the funds to make this Institute a reality! If you can donate once, even a few dollars THANK YOU! If your able to do more GREAT, please don't think your $5 or 10$ won't matter because it does!! If we all pull together we can achieve our goals and make this world a better place.
