Jazmin's Wish

Hello! My name is Jazmin Rojas, I am 21-years-old, and I've been diagnosed with Stage 4 Chondro sarcoma. I was recently told that I probably only have 1-6 months left to live.

I have a gene called the p53 that has been passed on from my mother. My mother was 36 when she passed away from breast cancer, my brother was just 9-years-old when he passed away from adrenal cancer, and my sister was 30 when she passed away from breast cancer. My boyfriend and I have had our son tested for the same gene and, unfortunately, he tested positive. He now gets checked every 3 months to see if there are any tumors growing so we could catch them early.

Although it is very difficult for me to admit, I could really use your help.

I'm worried that my boyfriend won't have enough money to pay for funeral costs for me.

I hate that my 4-yr-old son, Demetrius (Metri), may have to grow up without me. I want him to be able to continue to go to preschool and for his dad, my boyfriend Greg, to have help supporting him after I'm gone.

I am NOT giving up. I just wish I could make this all go away. But I can't. So I'm doing the only thing I can. Trying to make sure the ones I love most in the world have one less thing to worry about if I can't be here with them.
