Over the past few years my family has gone through tremendously hard times physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially. The financial burden on my parents has weighed heaviest of all. I'm not personally able to do much financially to help my parents but I want to do anything I can to give back and to provide for them as they have done for me my entire life.
Here's a little overview of the events as they unfolded the past few years:
In November of 2011, my grandfather passed away after an extensive battle with dimensia and diabetes.
2 months later, in January 2012, my brother totaled his car when a driver ran a red light and t-boned him. Thankfully it wasn't near as bad at it could have been and he walked away with some minor cuts and bruises.
Then in August of 2012, my grandmother was rediagnosed with cancer after having battled it roughly 20 years prior.
In September of 2012, I totaled my car when a woman turned left in front of me from the center lane and was able to walk away with some minor back pain.
A few weeks later, in October 2012, my father fell off a ladder while working. He crushed his right heel and badly sprained his left ankle. This left him unable to work for almost 9 months and in a wheel chair for about a year. So far he's had 10+ surgeries, hyperbaric chamber treatment, and intravenous antibiotic administration (among many other things).
In May 2013, my brother broke his clavicle while trail riding his bike with some friends. As a result, he had 2 surgeries. One to put a plate in to hold the bones in place while they healed and the second to remove the plate.
In June 2013 my sister totaled her car in a wreck when a car stopped at a green light in front of her.
Then in October of 2013 my grandmother passed away while on hospice care at my parents' house after going through a year of chemotherapy and surgeries to try to get rid of the cancer taken over her body.
It's been a very difficult few years for my family that has left them with an enormous amount of medical bills to pay. So I made this video and created this campaign to try to help provide for my parents.
All money raised through this campaign will go directly to my parents to help them pay for the medical bills. Any remaining funds, if enough has been raised to pay off their medical bills, will be used to help pay off their house and to provide them with funds to live off of as my father rebuilds his buisiness after having lost 60% of his income during this time of injury and recovery.
