Vermont State Trooper Kyle Young

It is with a heavy heart that the Vermont State Police share the untimely passing of Trooper Kyle Young (28) of Monkton, Vermont, and originally from Watertown, NY. Trooper Young suffered a medical event that caused him to collapse during a training event. Trooper Young is survived by his two young daughters and his loving girlfriend.
Kyle is also survived by his second family, the Vermont State Police. He began his career with the Vermont State Police in January of 2014 and is assigned to the New Haven barracks.
In this time of tragedy, we pull together to stand with Kyle and his family as they are part of our law enforcement family. All donations will be made to the Vermont Trooper’s Association and will be used to benefit Kyle’s family.
We remember Kyle as a caring and dedicated father and partner, and honorable Vermont State Trooper, who cared greatly for his family and community. We will never forget.
