Leon and Maddison Fund Raising

On the 27th October 2013 I gave birth at 21 weeks to my little boy Leon Kenneth at Arrowe Park Hospital, Wirral. Unfortunately Leon was born sleeping. Myself and my husband Kenny had the chance of spending 15 hours with Leon due to a mechanism called a 'cuddle cot'.
I also gave birth to a beautiful little girl Maddison who was born sleeping on 18th June 2014. Once again we used a cuddle cot and got to spend 20 hours with Maddie before we said goodbye.
We would love to be able to give other families in our situation the chance of spending time with their son/daughter before they have to say goodbye.
We held a fund raising football match in January 2014 and we held an event in February 2014 to help us meet our target. We raised £3104.00 in total. With this we used £400 to donate 20 memory boxes to Arrowe Park Delivery Suite which are given to parents whose child is born still born or dies during/after birth.
We would really like to raise as much money as we can for the Delivery Suite in order to help them secure a bereavment room in order for parents to spend as much time with their son/daughter as possible. We are holding another event in 2015 and would like to raise more to reach our target. We are also holding other smaller events to help us reach our target.
We have now had permission from Arrowe Park Hospital to build the bereavement rooms. More information will be released once we know more.
