Our Love of Liz Cancer Fund

This is Liz. Liz is a 25 year old woman who just began her journey into adulthood. She had a steady job, was going to school, was engaged and planning her wedding. Then Liz found out she had a rare form of cancer. Metastatic breast cancer is quite vicious. The cancer attacks her breasts, lymph nodes, and bones as of right now. Some of the cancer is in stage 3 and some is in stage 4. This cancer changed her entire life. The appointments, the procedures, and the decline in health all took a toll. Liz had to leave her job, leave school, and leave her old life behind. Liz moved back home with her parents and siblings. Liz is on disibility due to her cancer being terminal. Liz could no longer afford where she was living with her supportive income. Liz only receives enough money to pay her copays and a few Bill's. Her food stamps is only $16 a month. Liz worries for her and her pets' well being and needs for daily living. Her family can give her a place to live, but they cannot afford to help her financially. This GoFundMe is what she has been dependent on for the past 3 years. Liz is going through chemo. She was on chemo pills that almost killed her right before her 25th birthday. She is on hormone medication to prepare her body for early menopause and a needed hysterectomy. Due to past surgeries Liz now has lost feeling and some mobility in her right arm at times. This charity has helped her afford most of her medical bills so far. However, after three years, the number of donations also represents the amount of money she has had to spend.
