Families with ASD is an ALL Volunteer Board, and FREE programs are paid for by donations made by people like you.

Social Support for Entire Family:

Since founded by a Cincinnati couple in 2005, Families with ASD has offered the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Autism & Special Needs Community  FREE family support group meetings and free autism & special needs friendly social events for the whole family such as: Free Holiday Parties,  FREE Autism Get Socials, FREE Friday Night Flicks, Free Autism Bingo Taco NIghts, and much more.




Families with ASD opened The Autism Family Resource Center located on Meijer Drive in Milford, Ohio in November of 2008 and served over 500 families that live in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area until it closed its doors December of 2014 due to lack of funds. 

 While Families with ASD had to close the autism center, they have still continued to offer free autism and special needs family events for our community.

Autism Get Socials which include  Bingo/Taco Night, FREE Friday Night Flicks , Family game nights, and more...

Out & Abouts with Autism group outings which include Free day at Kings Island, Free Autism & Special Needs Skate night at Castle Skateland, Free Autism & Special Needs Bowling at Cherry Grove Lanes, Free Reach for the Stars at the Drake Planetarium.

and of course our FREE Holiday Parties which include: Autism Friendly Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Breakfast with Santa. 


 When we are unable to sponsor a comple event, we offer group outings at a subsidized rate.  We pay for part of the ticket price so it is more affordable for families.  Some of these events we have subsidized include Autism Under the Sea at the Newport Aquarium, and Ride the Kindervelt's Noth Polar Express Train Ride  in Lebonon, Ohio.  


Families with ASD also host the FREE Annual Autism & ALL Special Needs Expos.  Over the past 12 years, they have hosted 11 Expo's which  that we has helped over 20,000 attendees connect with Autism Service Providers and Vendors. They also create, print and hand out FREE copies of the Autism Yellow Pages which is a huge resources for families living with autism in our community.   This is a FREE Annual FamilyEvent proudly brought to you by Families with ASD!

Families with Autism Spectrum Disorders (Families with ASD) is a grassroots, 501c3 public charity founded on March 4, 2005 by a Cincinnati, OH couple who have a son with autism. Families with ASD has NO paid staff, and receives NO Federal or State funding. They are completely run by volunteers, and every penny they raise goes to fund the many FREE services they offer families, and to pay for the operational expenses of the current Autism Family Resource Center.
