Help Me Change the World!

My name is Madeline Lippert. I am a young student on a mission to change the world. I am bright, intuitive and giving at any moment. I haven't always know what I wanted to study, but I have known that I want to make a difference, to have a career where I am making a positive impact wherever I go. This has led me to major in International Studies, with a focus in World Development. But I need your help in getting there.



So, what does my major even mean?



It means I am studying the world and the human race as a whole and looking at what is holding us back. There is so much good in the world, so much potential for the human race to succeed. But our system is imperfect. This is real life we can't do experiments to find the best possible solution. We need to study, and theorize solutions. I have been blessed in life, and I want to understand what the world can do to insure people have the same safety, love, education and fulfillment that has been available to me. This degree will lead me to a future where I work with the Peace Corps, United Nations Development Fund, NGOs, such as Amnesty International, or even think tanks such as the National Peace Institute, to study the problems, and become a part of the solution.



Next semester, I am attempting to continue my studies abroad in Ifrane, Morocco at Al-Akhawayn University. This is an amazing and once in a life time opportunity. This is a chance I have been waiting years for. While studying in Morocco I will be able to experience first hand the issues that are plaguing the poorest region in the world while theorizing solutions with renowned professors. I will do whatever it takes to participate in this experience, because it is what I need to do in order make the change I want to see a reality. It's not like me to ask for help or donations, but the financial burden of this trip is immense. I have some scholarships and financial aid to help, but they are not enough.  



I need the help. Even the smallest bit can make a huge difference and I appreciate any amount that people are willing to give.



Please, help me make a difference in the world. I know I can succeed, and reach these high goals. I just need some assistance in getting there.
