Dear friends and loved-ones,
In partnership with faithful individuals like you, I am reaching out to my inner-circle in regards to Mantua Worldwide Community, Inc. -- an organization I started to uplift my fondly-remembered childhood community of Mantua to provide residents with quality food, farm-to-table access, disease prevention, medical resources, nutrition education, and physical fitness. I am at a point where I must ask your support as
I have committed to a one-year capital campaign to raise seed money to build a pipeline by way of a stable administrative and logistical infrastructure that would facilitate those efforts. We need funding to support the following: intellectual property, web-based services, technology, supplies, equipment, licenses, professional fees, certifications, rentals, research, marketing, duplication, training, conferences, meeting support, postal services, and so much more.
To that end, I am having a performing arts fundraiser to spearhead my fundraising efforts. Please pledge your support per the below:

"Sunrise Over the Horizon" is a a show of poetry, song, and dance filled with hope, joy, and inspiration presented by Welcome to My World -- a fundraising campaign for Mantua Worldwide Community, Inc. a soon-to-be nonprofit 501C3 to uplift the impoverished community of Mantua. Elizabeth Altimus and Lynne Rabchuk will also provide visual and verbal arts.
In brief, many of you know me as a poet, arts consultant/arts organizer, as well as working with you in some capacity on-the-ground as a grassroots community liaison who has partnered closely with Physicians for Social Responsibility, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, The College of Physicians of Philadelpia, Drexel University, Health Federation of Philadelphia including churches, nonprofits, anti-violence initiatives, and arts programming.
My community work consists of a 13 year track record of donating hundreds of volunteer hours and sacrificing my own money to various projects and programs that uplift individuals and communities. To date, I have been investing in Mantua Worldwide Community with my own funds. Your generous financial support would build a solid administrative and logistical infrastructure so Mantua Worldwide Community could have a firm foundation.
I trust that supporters would sow a seed to help Mantua see a brighter future, as well as feel inspired to give back to their own communities regardless of race, socio-economic status, religion, culture, or land of origin in hopes of collectively making our urban cities, hometowns and, ultimately, our world much more enjoyable and peaceful in which to live.
Please spread the word and encourage others to be a part of a bright future for the community that nurtured my soul and gave me my sweet humble beginnings.
