Hello, I am Amber Mack and I am the reigning Mrs. New Jersey International 2015. In July I will compete in Jacksonville, Florida at the Mrs. International Pageant. The Mrs. International® Pageant system provides a unique opportunity for married women around the world to become positive role models. As Mrs. New Jersey International 2015, I will spend my year of service speaking and raising awareness on behalf of disabled and underprivileged children. I will also be raising funds and awareness on behalf of a 501c3 charitiy, Special Olympics.
I have been married to my husband, Codey, since 2008 and we have two beautiful children, Kinley Rose (2 years old) and Jackson Charles (4 years old). I am a Registered Nurse and I enjoy spending my spare time as a medical and general volunteer for Special Olympics New Jersey . I am also a professional ballerina and Assistant Artistic Director at Central NJ Ballet Theatre. I recently started my own costume company called Amber Rae Mack Designs, which specializes in custom tutus, tiaras, leotards, and baby gifts. I enjoy being involved in my community as much as possible. I visit my gym 6 days a week and I sit on 3 volunteer fundraising committees at my local YMCA in Hamilton, NJ. Last year I was able to raise $3,000 for the Y's Active Older Adult Program and the Special Kids Organized Recreation Program. In addition to my interests, I make appearances and volunteer for such organizations as American Heart Association, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Miss Next Level Youth Mentoring Program and Pageant, Miss Amazing Pageant for those with special needs, and the local Downtown Bordentown Association.
The Mrs. International® Pageant is produced by Mary Richardson and the mission is "To Make a Difference". Beginning 25 years ago, Mrs. International® was developed to have higher standards than other pageant systems. The focus behind Mrs. International® is to showcase women 21 to 56 years old and married at least six months. Each contestant has the opportunity to select a platform of her choice that she spends the year promoting. Husbands are a direct part of the show, escorting their wives in the Evening Gown competition, and the husband crowns his wife titleholder.
As part of the experience, contestants are encouraged to raise fees and funds for pageant related items needed for the competition through independent sponsorship. Fundraising not only helps to offset the cost of competition but also builds a useful skill and character. For this reason, I have created this gofundme campaign in search of support.
