2011 Hippos Excavation

2011 will be the tenth year that I have taken students and adult volunteers to Hippos of the Decapolis near the Sea of Galilee for an archaeological dig in July.  I am raising money to fund scholarships for students and to cover travel expenses for our Small Finds Registrar (a returning student).  For many students the trip is a life-changing experience and our efforts are contributing significantly to the understanding of the Roman and Byzantine periods in the Galilee and Golan.
