Help fund NRDL's new home

Late last year, Newcastle Roller Derby League lost their venue at Gateshead Sportsworld. Over the last 6 months, the league has been trying to secure a venue to call our own, but it has been difficult to get an appropriate place of open warehouse of >1000m2 within our budget. Such a venue has been found at Shed B2, 111 Bourke Street Carrington. The owner has been very generous in supporting us to gain a lease; however our current funding still falls short by $22,000.
There will be opportunities at this venue to have permanent advertising, hold stalls at all events, and have any sponsor logos on all our promotional material and our website. We are happy to discuss what we could do further to support your assistance to us.
If we were able to secure the venue we could increase our membership, support junior and men's roller derby, offer regular social skating sessions and lessons, and even offer a space to the wider Newcastle community for other events. Other leagues that have their own venues have also seen significant increases to their ranking within 6 months, something that we are incredibly focused on with our national tournament being held in June 2014.
This is a very important step for NRDL. We can't stress enough how much it could bring to our sport.
