National Dialogue Network

Hello, I'm John Spady, founder of the National Dialogue Network. In 2013, voting members of the National Coalition for Dialogue and Deliberation (NCDD) selected this proposal for a National Dialogue Network as one of two Catalyst Award winners to encourage "collaborative projects that contribute to the development of a robust, sustainable civic infrastructure in our communities and our country."

That $10K award encouraged a team of volunteers to create an intro video, develop our website, and create a basic template for coordinating local conversations that, when summarized together, form the foundation for an inexpensive and collaborative infrastructure for national dialogue.

The inaugural issue chosen by public poll for our network in 2013 is "Poverty/Wealth in America."

But now we also need to prepare for our future.

Our network is making this public ask to raise at least another $10,000 for 2014 so we can continue to develop processes and content for another year of national dialogue. Funds raised over $15,000 will be used to develop more professional content, coordination, and promotional grants.

All of this is meant to promote a flexible and collaborative civic infrastructure for meaningful national dialogue.

Will you support our efforts? Thank you for your donation!
