EARTHQUAKE NEPAL RELIEF

A 7.8 magnitude earthquake centered less than 50 miles from Kathmandu rocked Nepal with devastating force early Saturday, killing 2500+ people and counting. They have yet to rescue all of the injured. We are at a risk for another earthquake to hit in a few hours and the authorities there are trying to find a way to prepare for it. Nepal needs us now more than ever. Nepal has always anticipated it but is also highly unequipped and unprepared to deal with this tragedy. Major historic landmarks, temples, houses, and villages all across Kathmandu region have been completely destroyed.

This initiative is organized by Oshin Bharati an undergraduate student from Nepal studying at Stony Brook University to lend a helping hand and stand together for our brothers and sisters back home. It's an effort to provide some relief to our people back home.

I will ensure that all contribution goes towards providing relief to Nepal. All donors will be informed once a reputable agency has been contacted with. This is the first step in providing assistance so please include everyone you know.
