Northside Band/String Instruments

The Northside Bands and Orchestras have nearly tripled in the last two years. With some students relying on school owned instruments, our inventories are diminishing rapidly.

These students CRAVE the arts.

To help supplement our programs, we have started this GoFundMe fundraising drive. If you are able, any amount is greatly appreciated and will go directly to funding the purchase of brand new instruments to be used by students in 4th - 12th grade on the Northside of Des Moines, IA. In addition, you can also help us spread the word of this fundraising drive by sharing this acount on your social media and via email. Donation Levels:

Please consider supporting us at one of these donation levels, representing the real costs of musical supplies!

·   “Plenty of Pencils” Level: $1 or more. Help students be prepared for daily rehearsals with basic supplies!

·   “Rockin’ New Music” Level: $50 or more. Help purchase a new piece of music for band or orchestra.

·   “A Little of Everything” Level: $100 or more. Help purchase a little bit of everything listed above!

·   “Hollering High Notes” Level: $200 or more. Help purchase violins, flutes, and trumpets with this generous donation.

·   “Awesome Alto Notes” Level: $300 or more. Help purchase violas and clarinets with the amazing donation.

·   “Tremendous Tenor Notes” Level: $500 or more. Help purchase cellos and trombones with this tantalizing donation.

·   “Bumpin’ Bass Notes” Level: $1000 or more. Help purchase basses or baritones with this boisterous donation.

·   “Thumpin’ Tuba” Level: $2500 or more. Help purchase a tuba with this incredibly terrific donation.

Used Instruments for Direct Donation:

Band Instruments: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, Bassoon, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, and Percussion (Snare Drum, Sticks/Mallets, etc.).

Orchestra Instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass.
