Save Our Pool
The College of Central Florida will NOT be renewing the lease with Ocala Aquatics. That means as of September 30th, 2017 there will be NO MORE Ocala Aquatics. This means no facility for swim lessons, High School Swimming, Marlins Swim Team, Masters Swimming and many other classes, competitions and programs. Taking this facility away from the community would be a catastrophic mistake. Where will children learn to swim? Where will the High School Swim Teams practice? What facility will accommodate the 300,000 people that use the pool in some manner each year? The College pool is the ONLY facility in Marion County that can accommodate all of these programs.
In an effort to comply with the President Henningsen's ultimatum that we rainse 1.5 Million dollars to completely rebuild the Aquatic Facility located on their campus we need you help.
If we are unable to raise this amount we will be forced to secure a new home and all funds will go towards our efforts to relocate Ocala Aquatics and the programs that they support.
