Dear Friends of PRHS Bobcat Hockey:
The Plymouth Regional High School Ice Hockey Team is moving on to varsity status this year! Thanks to overwhelming support from district voters last March (78% in favor), the Pemi-Baker School Board approved the change from a club to varsity team in a cooperative arrangement with Kearsarge High School. As a result, we have interest from nearly 50 students and will be dressing both a varsity and junior varsity team for the upcoming 2015/16 hockey season. That’s the good news.
The more challenging news is that the team is receiving no financial support from the school budget. As a self-funded team, we need your help. In addition to the significant number of students who will need uniforms, we are now supporting both Varsity and JV teams, more ice time for practices and games, bus transportation and coaching costs.
Donations of any amount will be highly appreciated and will help to make the upcoming season a success. Your gift of $200 or more will pay for one practice or one bus trip. More importantly, your donation of any amount will help Bobcat Hockey along the way to developing a sustainable hockey program at PRHS.
Although the team receives no funding from the school budget, Bobcat Hockey is committed to eliminating financial barriers to participation for any player.
