Bring 3x3 Basketball League to 503

Rose City 3s is Portland’s first ever year-round FIBA endorsed 3-on-3 basketball league. 3-on-3 basketball is blowing up around the world. 3x3 has recently been added as an event in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. The time has come for Rose City to have its very own premiere 3-on-3 basketball league. Our team of organizers consists of former local basketball players who have a passion for the game. We want to provide a competitive, exciting, and new way for people of the 503 to enjoy the game we all love. We are asking for help from our community to bring this vision to life. Our main expenses will be gym time, referees, liability insurance, league uniforms, and website development.

The Rose City 3s League will offer:

*Statistics recorded and posted on the league website/mobile app.
*FIBA endorsed games that could open the door to FIBA World Tour Qualifier events with cash prizes 
*Custom League jerseys.
*Playoffs
*Prize packages for league champions.
*Men’s and women’s leagues of various skill levels

PLAYERS! Anyone interested in playing in the league will be offered a free entry to the first session of the league to anyone who donates at least $50 during the course of this crowdfunding campaign. 

5% of all proceeds will be donated to The Salvation Army on NE Killingsworth because of the mentoring they do for our cities youth through basketball and other activities. 
5% will also be donated to SandyHookPromise a national non-profit organization dedicated to stopping gun violence in schools.
