Project Africa : The Return

Donation protected
Project Africa x Rap Sessions is going to Johannesburg, South Africa with YOUR help!

Through the efforts of Project Africa and donations from amazing people from all over the country and abroad, Project Africa sponsored American artist, Rahkua, on a life-changing voyage to Egypt and Ghana with Dr. Umar Johnson's annual tour in July 2015.

The next accomplishment, and 3rd point of action in Project Africa's tri-fold plan, is to sponsor this truly tranformative experience for other young artists looking to expand their cultural, educational, artistic horizons.

Project Africa has partnered with Rap Sessions - a HipHop forum to discuss the culture and support the purest and most authentic forms of the art - this year to raise the funds for our socio-cultural, educational, artistic excursion to Johannesburg, South Africa in July 2018.

Our purpose is to influence the artists we support by providing them with platforms and oulets to ehance their creativity and expression. Through support of individual artists, we hope to inspire new artists throughout local and international communities by exposing them to new cultures and connecting them to others across across the globe.

Who Are We?

We are a Grassroots Collective of community organizers and artists that focuses our talent and resources on uplifting oppressed communities.

WHAT IS PROJECT AFRICA: THE RETURN?

Egypt, Ghana, and South Africa are just the beginning. We plan to add more cultural experiences and expand the community with your support.

WHERE WILL THE FUNDS GO?

We're looking at a base budget of around $2000 per person. This is a projected 6 person campaign, so $12,000 is the ideal goal:

* Flights ($1300)
* Residence ($300)
* Meals ($150)
* Transportation ($200)
*Miscellaneous ($50)

HOW CAN YOU HELP?!

Your donations are invaluable at ANY amount. Even $1 donations go a long way in showing your support and spreading the news. You can also help get others involved by tweeting, instagramming, emailing, snapchatting, youtubing, tumblring, and all the many other social media platforms out there where you can spread the word; and of course simply talking to your friends and family about it in person and directing them to the site is another great way to spread the word!
