Raising Men Lawn Care Florida

“Raising Men Lawn Care Service" was founded by Rodney Smith, a student at Alabama A&M University. After seeing his impact through providing lawncare for those who are unable, we decided it time to open a chapter in Tallahassee, FL. My name is Ray Coleman and I'm located here in Tallahassee, FL. I am over the Tallahassee Chapter of RMLC.  The basis for RMLC is the union of an ordinary yard maintenance service and the commitment to establish an inspiring program to keep our young men and boys (young women and girls) on a positive path while learning and understanding their value in society. This has been Rodney's vision since he started with the first yard. All the lawns we do are done for FREE.

The objective is to provide lawn service to our elders and single mothers who do not have the time, resources and/or money to manicure their yards. I want to restore the importance and understanding of giving back to the community. I want to show our children (our future) that by helping others they too will receive a sense of accomplishment, self-esteem, moral value and purpose in themselves. We want to instill the belief that no matter how young or old, small or tall, or cultural background they come from, they are capable of whatever they put their minds to. From learning to use a lawn mower, weed eater or blower to raking and piling leaves, whilst developing team work, comradery, leadership, and listening skills, we will achieve our ultimate goal.

All funds raised will be used to purchase more t-shirts with our logo for uniformity, lawn equipment (such as weed eater string and gas for mowers  and trimmers),  as well as materials and refreshments, just to name a few.
