Deb Lajiness Funeral Expenses Fund
Donation protected

This fund is now a fund to use towards final funeral expenses. Mom lost her battle with cancer on June 25, 2015. She was 57.
She did not have life insurance or assets of any kind to use towards her funeral. Having to take on this expense on has been devasting to me.
I left the original message below from when my daughter first wanted to start this fund. We did not expect to have to say goodbye this soon.
Raegan is 8 and she adores her Grandma. Her Grandma Deb, who is 56, was diagnosed with Stage 3 non-small cell lung cancer in December 2014.
She had a large tumor wrapped around her windpipe and a collapsed lung. Because of where the tumor was located surgery was not an option. She was given 6 months to live without treatment.
Deb underwent chemo and radiation and despite the struggle, did exceptionally well. Six weeks after treatment was over her grandma started to feel sick, extremely tired and ran fevers.
Deb received a PET scan to see how well the treament worked on the tumor. The tumor is inactive and can barely be seen!! However, she has 2 spots on her liver they believe to be cancer as well. Deb will soon be starting chemo once again.
Raegan has seen her grandma's health decline in recent weeks. She has lost more weight, sleeping for long periods, no energy, very dehydrated and in lots of pain.
With a limited income, medical bills, perscriptions and daily expenses Deb has struggled to afford proper nutrition for herself. Raegan's heart, thats as large as a mountain, felt the urge to want to help her grandma quickly.
Raegan has sold lemonade and crafts to help raise money . When she asked to do this video and fundraiser I just didn't have the heart to say no.
Raegan is hoping that the money raised can help buy proper nutrition for her grandma now and during the next chemo battle and to help with her living conditions. She believes that with your support, Deb will have a fighting chance once again to beat this devil called cancer.
Raegan thanks you tremendously for being a generous giver!!!
