Shore Acres Yacht Club Sandy Recovery
Donation protected
While our thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims of Super Storm Sandy and we can only wish all a speedy recovery, Shore Acres Yacht Club has sustained major damage and is looking for community support. The walls of the main building were torn out on both the southeast and southwest corners and the building has been deemed condemned. The annex is completely gone leaving nothing but a cement slab. The flood has left the grounds unusable.
As a club, we have a lot of work to do and we are looking for donations to help rebuild our facility. We have a 75 year history on Barnegat Bay to inspire us but we need your support to raise funds for our rebuilding effort.
With your help, we can restart our Junior Sailing and Adult Sailing programs introducing both the young and old to the amazing sport of sailing. With your help, we can give our volunteer membership the clubhouse it deserves.
Please join us, with a donation, to bring SAYC back to its place as the best on the bay.
