This is Lynx, a kitty who has had a rough start to life. He was spotted near a sweet couples home in absolutely horrible condition. He had a terrible eye infection and half of his tail was severed and nearly fully amputated as well. We were able to get him trapped and into the vet on the same day thankfully! However, our regular vet we use through the rescue was booked up and couldn’t get him into surgery soon enough. We took a chance at a newer vet that we haven’t used before since they could get him in the next day for surgery and while they did an AMAZING job with the enucleation (eye removal) and amputation of the remainder of the tail, the bill was a massive shock to us. We weren’t expecting nor prepared to pay double what we normally would for these services and we were not contacted or notified about the cost of the services before they were performed.

Fortunately, Lynx is turning out to NOT be feral! Which means he gets to find a forever home and never have to deal with the hard life again!
