Ridgway Recreation Association

In 2002 a group of young enthusiasts and a motivated group of parents worked together to create one of the most unique and developed BMX /skate parks in northwest Pennsylvania. Through grants and donations nearly $40,000 was raised to pave the area and pay for all of the materials. Parents and their extreme sports enthusiast kids hand built the entire 80' x 120' BMX and skate facility. 

 That park stood for over 13 years. However, in the summer of 2015, due to a land dispute, it was demolished, thus leaving a generation of youth extreme sports enthusiasts without their second home.

 Now, we are on the cusp of creating a new facility. Through private funds and the work of a newly formed group, The Ridgway Recreational Association, we have purchased the ramp materials. 

 This is where we need your help. Our new location desperately needs new black top. Smooth asphalt is vital in the skate and ride-ability of the ramp facility. Not to mention it's overall safety to those using the facility. We need to raise $16,000 to freshly pave the area designated for the new park.

This Ridgway Skatepark has been like a second home to dozens of locals, and generations of extreme sport enthusiasts alike. We need your help to bring their second home back. Donating means the world to not only the young enthusiasts but to their parents as well. This is a multi generational effort. Funds go directly towards paving the area to complete this BMX and skate park community project. We've raised enough funds to obtain the ramps, the fencing, and security measures. All we need now is enough money to pave the area it is being built on. Please help us complete our mission.
