Help for the Laubensteins
Donation protected
After five years of being treated for a mental health condition, the Laubensteins learned in July 2013 that Ron has a rare form of early onset frontotemporal dementia (affecting both his frontal and temporal areas of the brain) resulting from atrophy and causing hydrocephalus in his brain.
Doctors tell us the condition is terminal. We do feel we lose a little bit of Ron every day!).
With a 7th grader, our medical expenses and needs are more than our existing resources. Any help is greatly appreciated. Ron has an assisted living home now, but all of his income is now going to the home. Karen still has to cover all of his supplies, medicines, transportation, and now the household expenses without his share. This fund is helping to pay for these needs. Dementia can linger for months, and the need is great. Ron turned 60 in January 2014. We thank you from our hearts.
