Rotary Weekend Snack Pack Program

HELP ROTARY CLUB OF THE PALISADES FUND THE 2017-2018 LEONIA/EDGEWATER SCHOOL'S WEEKEND SNACK PACK PROGRAM:

Many children who recieve free or reduced priced school meals are left without adequate nutrition on the weekends.

The Weekend Snack Pack Program (WSPP) fills this gap by providing healthy kid-friendly, easy to prepare foods for children at risk of hunger.

The sealed snack packs are discreetly distributed by the classroom teachers in Leonia & Edgewater on Friday afternoons.

(need edit) Last year the WSPP cost over $12,000 and provided over 1200 weekend snack packs to kids in need in our community.  

We ask every family in Leonia & Edgewater to contrubute at least $5 to help ensure this Program continues for the current school year.
