Operation Save Josephine
Donation protected
Our dearest friend, Josephine, has been diagnosed with stage 3 uterine and ovarian cancer—quite a rare and dreadful combination; one that has not yet been treated in Cebu, Philippines before.
Josephine is a working single mom, who supports her son and mother and is not only our coworker, but our very good friend and has earned her name as MaMa Jo with her colleagues for her caring and supportive friendship she has with each person on our team.
We are all praying that she can be treated immediately and cured. However, Josephine's doctor is recommending a set of treatments that will cost her over PHP200,000 ($4,500)!
This will cover 6 sessions of chemotherapy, 12 sessions of radiation therapy, and follow-up care after that. We are asking for a bit more to cover medication, household expenses and the time she will not be able to work. She is in desperate need of help as she has no other means of paying for these life-saving treatments. In fact, she shouldn't even be working anymore, but insists on doing so anyway to support her family. It pains us to see her in so much pain.
We are kindly asking for any donation that you can make to help save Josephine's life. 1 Dollar. 10 Dollars. 100 dollars. Whatever you can give will be welcomed and received with deep appreciation for your assistance.
Thank you for helping us to help Josephine and her family.
Sincerely,
Josephine's Friends
