ESN: Scholar's Compass Match

Tax deductible

Would you join the Emerging Scholars Network  (ESN) in a great project funding opportunity? We've received $1250 in matching grant funds from generous donors towards a $2500 project goal to print Scholar's Compass teaser booklets for the summer conference season.

As we explore book publication for Scholar's Compass, the teaser booklet is an important way to give readers a taste of Scholar's Compass and a great way to demonstrate reader interest to potential publishers. The teaser booklet contains five Scholar's Compass pieces that represent central goals of the project and the diversity of writers' experiences.

Having a well-designed hard copy booklet in hand makes it easier to share the idea at conferences where attendees may not have immediate internet access, to start Scholar's Compass study groups on campuses, and to show potential publishers the value of Scholar's Compass.

Our first print run, at the InterVarsity Graduate and Faculty Ministry  team meetings, was so popular we had to turn people away. We didn't have enough for everyone who wanted one. Will you help us share Scholar's Compass with more people?

If you desire to review and/or share a booklet, please contact  us. Thank-you.

Our goal: Raise $2500 by August 1 to support ESN in printing and distributing booklets.

Note: Gifts toward this project go into ESN's general fund. While we anticipate using them mainly toward printing costs, some funds may be used toward other operating costs which generally support ESN's ability to be a presence at conferences sharing materials such as Scholar's Compass booklets.
