Every year Thousands of American people become homeless not because of any fault of their own but for reasons that maybe out of their control, in Miami-Dade alone 4100 plus individuals are homeless at any given time of the year... 8% Of that number are Mothers!
I don't know about you but I Love my moms to death and I could never hate to see her in that situation and to see mothers like that today on the street struggling to get by and at times with their kids, with depression in their face and worry about how they're going to care for their babies is too much for me that I had to do something or help in some way possible.
So I came up with the an idea that was inspired by an acquaintance whose doing what you call "Blessing Bags" It's basically a zip lock filled with a snack, some socks, hygiene products and so forth... Things that we may take for granted but would seen as a treasure for a homeless person.
My idea is the "Make Her Smile Mothers Day Project!" For the past twelve months I have collected personal hygiene products, new underwater, combs and brushes and so forth and imma make different types of gift boxes and give them to Homeless Mothers at shelters and different places around Miami-Dade. It was also suggested I give them used but fairly new purses because Moms always needs a purse. So I'm asking for help to do more and reach more I currently have stuff for about 15-20 Mothers but I would like to double it to 30-40 if not more. This is not a scam and I'm posting pics to show I'm genuine about this. A donation of a dollar or more would be greatly appreciated and if you can't donate do me a favor and Atleast go out and help someone that's homeless take em some clothes you do not use anymore or Make your own blessing bag and give it to a homeless person not necessarily a mother but to someone in need!
