Hey Everyone,
Welcome to my fundraiser! Thanks so much for stopping by. You probably found this through my blog or facebook or good old fashioned email and I'm so grateful.
If you haven't see my fundraising video, take a moment and watch it here...it'll tell you all the reasons why I'd love your support getting to Allume 2015.

Fun, right?
Here's a couple of quick answers to questions you may have?
1: Why a conference? Why now?
I've never been to a conference devoted to empowering and educating bloggers, because "Shalom in the City" was always this side hobby I did, but recently God has showed me that my blog is a place of encouragement and inspritation for so many people. The combination of the responses to some of my posts with the timing of our family moving into a new season, makes me think that now is the time to invest in and grow this ministry. It's my passion and calling to be a peacemaker, and "Shalom" is my platform to do so.
2: Why "Allume", there's so many conference, how did you pick that one?
Yes, there's so many and I'd love to be at every. one. of them! BUT, several months ago, I noticed Allume because a blogger friend linked to it on her facebook page and I was captured by the graciousness, the intentionality, and the diversity of Allume. I can tell from the site that the leaders are passionate about unity and empowerment, so my heart began longing to go this year.

3: If I give more than $50, do I get two shirts? $75...three? $100..four? You get the picture right?
YES! If you're ordering for a group or family, every $25 gift gets you one shirt of your choice. You and the hubs want to support "Shalom" together. Cool. Grab the gray t for him (the only one that comes in male sizes) and one of the other styles for you. Just let me know when you comment on your gift.
4: How will you do the shipping? How long does it take?
I've partnered with "Fund the Nations" to design the shirts. Once I have a good size order and/or I've reached my goal, I'll place the order (my hope is to do it before Aug. 15) and then "Fund the Nations" will fill it and ship them to me, I'll then package them with your hand written "thank you notes" and send it to you. I'm not sure of the exact timeline, I'll check with my amazing fundraising coordinator at "Fund the Nations" and get that for you. Sit tight.
5: If you raise over $2000 what are you going to do with the extra?
A few things. One: I'll fix the hinge on my laptop so I can stop relying on TC's heavy books from seminary to prop it up. It'll make writing and well...LIFE so much easier.
Two: I'll put a little aside in coffee shop gift cards to use during the "Shalom" hours- the 25 promised hours of writing for 3 posts every week. Living in an apt with three loud, energetic kiddos is hard for my creative brain to focus and write, so I go to coffee shops to write. That can get expensive, so I'm going to any some of the extra to help curb that expense. Third: I'll use it for books to read and review on the blog.
I can't wait to go on this journey with you all and collectively rock our "Shalom in the City" shirts!
How to order your shirts!
After you give, send comment with STYLE, SIZE, and I'll put the order in with GoFundMe.
I'll follow up with any questions and to schedule your thank you call if you give on or before my birthday.
Your Shalom Sister,
Osheta
