Girls Gone Fast

Girls Gone Fast (GGF) is a media outlet that supports female athletes – in particular, skateboarders, longboarders, street lugers, and snowboarders. These sports are largely male dominated and lack a feminine perspective that many women relate to. So - hey, no big deal, Girls Gone Fast found a solution of its own - create the media! GGF knows it's easier for women to identify with other females, and they hope that creating more female media will encourage women to pick up a board. Girls Gone Fast is new to the scene, but they’re coming out with a strong force after documenting the 2015 Maryhill She-Ride longboarding event road trip.
You can support these female athletes by following them on girlsgonefast.com , Facebook , Twitter , and Instagram (@girlsgonefast), and sharing their posts with your friends. You can also donate to their mission through GoFundMe, as they raise money to support their road tours and gather media of women who defy cultural norms.
What's next? Keep an eye open for next year's anticipated women only Maryhill She-Ride in 2016 as well as the year round footage of other road tours to skateboarding, longboarding, and snowboarding events!
