Electric Cart for Shen Rvr St Park!

Please help the Friends of Shenandoah River State Park, purchase a used electric cart for the Shenandoah River State Park.
As part of the Virginia Green program, the Park staff is always looking to explore and expand on ways they conserve energy and reduce the harmful effects the park has on the environment....Including being trash free and how they manage and limit mowing and limiting the use of vehicles that offer pollutants and noise.This quiet, electric cart will be used to help the staff who service the cabins and campgrounds.
To help maintain an environmentally friendly Park and to make this an Earth Day Challenge for Friends, Community members and organizations who want to be apart of this effort, we are asking that we help the park reach this goal by Earth Day - April 22, 2016!
Any contribution would be very much appreciated and would go a long way toward helping the Park and the environment.
The Friends are a group of park supporters who assist the park in achieving its goals of serving visitors and protecting park resources. The Friends support the park with programs such as Junior Rangers, Interpretive, Multicultural events and special activities. Please learn more about our Friends group and the Park .
