My Dog Skip Needs Surgery
Donation protected
Skippy has some "hemangiomas" they are possibly malignant (which would then be called: hemangioma sarcoma) but hopeful they are benign.
Approximately 3 years ago he had 3 hemangiomas removed and they were benign. The Veterinarian is quite hopeful these will also be benign.
The big one on his leg definitely needs to be removed and a couple small ones on his chest. Then sent off to a lab to see if they're cancerous.
I need to have the surgery within 1 month preferably sooner like in this week or next.
If I don't act soon, they'll just get bigger & the big one could burst & he could hemorrhage to death because it is fed by a major vein.
He has a few tiny ones on his chest. The big one is our biggest concern because they can become malignant as they grow & then it can metastasize.
The timing is interesting. Today his official AKC PAL registration papers came allowing Skip to officially compete in AKC sports, like Rally Obedience, Obedience & others. Skip has passed his AKC Canine Good Citizen & his Advanced CGC Community Canine Tests. I had hoped this would be the year, after all the training Skip has participated in, that he would be ready to compete & have fun in some official dog sports.
I am on limited disability income & have been unable to bring in enough finances to barely pay the bills. If I don't come up with the money for Skippy's surgery, I don't know what I will do. Thank you for considering to help Skip. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
