November 29th
at Luke Jensen Sports Complex

Comeback Sports and the Mt. Adams Institute
will host...

Vancouver Community 7v7 Soccer
Tournament & Food Drive!

Comeback Sports provides sports leagues for adults looking to have a great time, stay active, meet new people, and re-live those glory days out on the field. They are dedicated to not only providing a well run league, but also an experience and atmosphere that will leave you counting down the days till the next season!

The Mt. Adams Institute strengthens the connection between people and the natural world through education, service learning, career development and research.

Their Vetswork program offers an eleven month career development internship for Veterans, including those with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and/or Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) in natural resources management. Vetswork participants are placed at local/state/federal land management agencies such as the U.S. Forest Service where they provide project support while learning about various career paths.

This community soccer tournament, food drive and fundraiser is made possible in part by the Vetswork program, AmeriCorps, and the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

The Food Drive - Players will donate $10 or 10 items of non-perishable food in order to join. Individuals or full coed teams of 7-10 players will be able to register soon at comebackportland.com/soccer. All food will be donated to Clark County Food Bank.

The Fundraiser

$500
the field, facility fees and ref for final game.

>$500
Though the contributing artist on our flyer has not asked for any money, we would like to donate a minimum of $100 to him for sharing his incredible artwork.

If we recieve up to a $1000, those additional funds will be given to local shelters to help keep their doors open, during these wet and cold nights.

  >$1000
If we recieve more than a $1000 I suppose a few trophies would be appropriate at that point and/or perhaps of few bottles of sparkling cider to uncork!

Tournament Goals

A minimum of 6 teams
Each team plays at least 2 games

Registration is now closed, BUT we have a few spots open on several teams. If you would like to join one of these existing teams please comment below and we can manually sign you up!

FUN, FAIR AND SAFE Soccer. No slide tackles, unless trying to save a ball when there are no other players around. Soccer cleats are highly recommended. Shin guards are required.

Teams will wear their chosen color, specified when your team registers through Comeback Sports.

A bracket will be created as we receive team information.

Though this is a tournament, one of its main goals is to promote fun physical activity and to connect players to a growing recreational soccer league in Vancouver Washington.

In addition to the Tournament, the Food Drive is an opportunity to give to those in need, in this season of thanks.

The team that brings the most food wins 10 pairs of their great EVA foam recovery shoes! Next Shot Sports will also be on site selling great soccer gear at rock bottom prices from the mobile shop. We can't thank them enough for supporting this event. Stop by and get some great gear!
