On September 6th, 2017, Steven Kazmierski passed away. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and one amazing person in general. In the 22 years that he lived on this earth, he was one of the most intelligent, outgoing, artistic, energetic persons youd ever meet. Had the most goofy sense of humor and was just so much fun to be around. His smile would light up any room he walked into.
One in three families are affected by the disease of addiction. Addiction has no face, its victims may be your neighbors, friends, family, coworkers...anyone. The number of drug related deaths are rising in the united states. Each year, more people are dying from overdoses than car accidents..and more than half those overdoses involve opioids, such as herion ans prescription painkillers.
As alot of you guys know, my brother suffered from the diesease of addiction. The addiction started with prescription painkillers from medical accidents over the years and eventually moved to herion. The progression was rapid and very tragic.
With the help of my friends, family, and those willing to help and support...the go fund page will help cover the cost to give Steve the proper wake and funeral he deserves.
I want to continue to raise awareness regarding addiction and to put an end to this growing herion epidemic thats taking away too many good people way too soon.
