Anti-Bullying Support Parkour Group

My 18 year old son and his friend have started a group called Solvo p.k. whick is a Parkour/free running group for young people to use their free time as well as work off any frustration, anger etc. in a positive way. My son was bullied for many years in school. This was a very upsetting thing for him to deal with. Well now that he is 18 and graduates in 10 days he has made it his mission to help support the fight against bullying and to be the voice for victims of this ugly issue. Aaron wants to give those kids who are being bullied or have no where else to turn a place to go ,an activity that will not only build thier self esteem but give them the feeling of being safe. So many young people who are bullied turn to drugs, crime and worse. Aaron has found that this exercise has tremendously helped him the last few years and knows it can help others.He and his friends train daily at parks, the beach, pretty much anywhere. So far he has reached several young people and has turned thier life around. He is a free spirit who will not allow anyone to be bullied whenever he and his friends know of it or see it. You can see thier group on facebook- Solvo p.k.. Aaron wants to be able to make every kid who gets involved with his team feel like they are part of something important. His goal is to raise money to have t-shirts made professionally, hats, etc. to give to each member as well as hand out wherever he may be to young people who are interested or seem to be looking for that one thing in thier life that will give them purpose, meaning. I am so very proud of my son for starting this group and making it a reality not only for him but many others. He went from hating school because of the bullying and not attending to hurting himself to the point we never thought he would pull through to now graduating with all a's and b's as well as special honors, to being a voice for victims of bullying and a member of several anti-bullying support groups. My son is a remarkable kid with goals and drive and passion and I really want him to be able to do this not only for him but for many many others who were and are like him. Being only 18 he has more young people his age, younger and older that respect him, look up, to him and come to him with troubles, etc. and he will drop everything to help them. If he can raise enough money he wants to order custom Stop-Bullying rubber bracelets to take around to all grade levels schools and do an assembly on this topic as well as hand out to every student a bracelt to wear to show support against bullying.
Check out Silence is Screaming Anti-bullying group on facebook and feel free to join the group. Take a few minutes to read some of the posts and you will get a better idea of how bad bullying is everywhere. My kids and I are all members and are the voice for those who are afraid. If all of us take just take a few minutes a day to talk with someone on there and give them some kind words then we will have given them hope. So important.
